23 marathons down, 112 to go
It may be silly to keep track of counties passed, but it makes for a great goal. Passing small towns doesn’t really feel like much of an accomplishment, and most people don’t even know where those little towns are without looking at a map. Large cities and counties, on the other hand, are large enough that they make for nice accomplishments. So, along those lines, I’m now in Merced County.
Running through these grasslands is the best part of today. I love running through level prairie.
I’m at my stopping point in Los Banos, and it turns out I’ve run 32.35 miles today, not that I’m keeping track of my mileage to two decimal places or anything. I’m mentally and physically exhausted, and it’s only Tuesday. This might explain why this post is so short. Goodnight all.
